Modern slavery due diligence

One of the most effective ways to eradicate modern slavery in your supply chain is to ensure that you are confident with your Preferred Suppliers. The Aspire team work with employers to identify financial and reputational risks existing within the current supply chain.

Section 54 Modern Slavery Act 2015

Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires any commercial organisation in any sector, which supplies goods or services, with a total global turnover in excess of £36m to produce a slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year. The statement must be published on your organisation’s website (if you have one) in a prominent place.

Aspire will work with you to ensure your obligations are met with regard to producing a slavery and human trafficking statement. With Aspire, your organisation will be able to set out in its statement that you are working with advisors who have a certification in ‘Investigating Modern Slavery’.
